Ocean Hills Country Club has a variety of shopping options nearby, however they do require the use of a car. As you come to Ocean Hills for the first time, you will probably notice a large shopping center on the corner of Melrose and Cannon. This is about a mile from Ocean Hills front gate. The anchor store is Walgreen’s. This center also contains McDonald’s, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Autozone, a cleaners, Frugos Yogurt, Denistry 2000, Perfect Cut, a Montessori, a nail salon, chiropractor, Postal Annex, Mike’s Bagel Shop and more. If you were to go south on Melrose from Cannon, you would see a large “Alberterson’s Grocery” shopping center on the west side of Melrose. This center contains a CVS Pharmacy, Fantastic Sams, a cleaners, H&R Block, UPS Store, Tae Kwondo, Dollar Tree and more.
Costco, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Carlsbad Regional Mall, and many, many other are within an easy drive from Ocean Hills Country Club.
