Ocean Hills is definitely a dog friendly area. Play with your dog at the off-leash, fenced dog park. Ocean Hills Country Club calls it “Kanine Kampus.” No, it is not a place to study or train dogs, it is more of a “party” place for your pets. This dog park is a grass area (actually, it is now artificial turf) where your dogs can run free and play with you or other dogs.
Everyone seems to get along. Kanine Kampus has double gates to keep free dogs from escaping when someone new is coming into the area. There is water, pick up bags, and a trash can available for your convenience. You can rest on one of the dog friendly benches as you watch your pet. See rules below photo.

K-9 Kampus rules and regulations are for the safety and comfort of others. Please observe the following rules:
- Dogs are to be off leash but must remain under handler’s control.
- Owners/handlers are responsible for any/all damages or injuries.
- Dog vaccinations and licenses must be current.
- Dogs that are sick, contagious or in heat are prohibited.
- Clean up and disposal of waste is mandatory.
- Dogs that demonstrate aggressive behavior and/or bark excessively must be removed immediately.
- Children under the age of 14 are prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited.
Kanine Kampus is located across Leisure Village Way from the clubhouse and next to the tennis courts and overflow parking. It is also next to Ocean Hills’ backyard of 1,000 acres of protected nature preserve.
